New Memorandum of Agreement:

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
ONTARIO PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES UNION
(OPSEU)
(MCSCS CORRECTIONS MERC)
AND
CROWN IN RIGHT OF ONTARIO AS REPRESENTED BY THE MINISTRY OF COMMUNITY SAFETY
AND CORRECTIONAL SERVICES
(“THE EMPLOYER”)

In an effort to improve labour relations, the parties have agreed to enter into this Memorandum of Agreement:

1. The Parties agree that local labour relations and business practices ought to be normalized.
2. The Union agrees to encourage its locals to rescind all notices recently served to their respective Superintendents.
3. Notice will be provided by the Union to the locals within three (3) business days of the signing of this Memorandum of Agreement.
4. The Employer agrees to accept the locals’ intent to rescind its notice of withdrawal from the local Compressed Work Week Agreement.
